• Have a passion and a willingness to learn about Blair Estate and the Wines that represent the history of the name.
• Greet and serve guests in the tasting room and at pop-up tastings. This includes wine tasting and wine education in the manner that Blair Estate will teach you.
• Promote Blair Estate Wine Club memberships.
• Accurately process sales transactions using Blair Estates’ current POS system.
• Answer the Tasting Room phone and manage inventory.
• Participate in special functions promoting Blair Estate wines, including but not limited to wine club events.
• Open and close the tasting room with the procedures provided by management.
• General housekeeping including, but not limited to, sweeping, glass washing, window cleaning.
• Availability as posted in this add.
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years’ experience in customer service is a plus but not required.

REQUIREMENTS

• LANGUAGE - Ability to respond to basic inquiries from customers. Ability to read and write required correspondence that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to co-workers and the public
• TECHINICAL -- Basic working knowledge of technology, ability to learn the current and any future
• POS system.
• GENERAL -- Comprehension of basic mathematics to complete customer transactions.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass mandated CA state safe beverage serving exam.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and/or keyboard. Required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch.Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
